Presenting SAMITOMOTO!

Those who know me will know my love for getting creative and in touch with your ‘right brain’. I have always believed that expressing your creativity, especially visual arts, is a precious journey for those who take the plunge to pick up a pencil and let their imagination go. I say the word ‘plunge’ because it can be quite a personal and vulnerable experience to put your inner self out there onto paper for all to see. And I say ‘precious’ because the act of getting in touch with your creative side is immeasurable in terms of that feeling you get when you tap into the unrestricted part of your mind where anything is. Clueword #1 :: imagination

So, when Samitomoto caught my attention I was excited ten fold because this game is of course perfect for simply getting kids and adults creative, but more importantly, it is a way to get you creative when you feel like you can’t be, or if you think you are not the ‘arty’ type. Everyone has an arty bit in them, and those who say they don’t just never knew how to bring it out. Until now. Samitomoto gets you there, and gratefully so – getting in touch with your creative side is like a letting your brain ‘play’, and we all need that in our lives.

And lets not look past the obvious – it’s fantastic for keeping the kids busy. And it’s keeping them busy with a creative activity – something kids these days don’t enough of in this techno saturated world.
